  1. Library card is issued to the student’s on orientation days of the commencement of the course.
  2. Students have to submit two copies of passport size photograph to the librarian for library membership.
  3. Students must carry their Library Card for issuing books from the library.
  4. Membership benefits
    • Degree and diploma students can issue 2 books at a time for 7 days.
    • Faculty members can issue 10 books at a time for 1 semester.
    • Non-teaching staff can issue 3 books at a time for 1 month.
  5. Fine due to late return of book
    • Rs. 5.00 per day after the due date.
    • Rs. 10.00 per day after 20 days from the due date.
  6. Students are not permitted to use other’s Library Card/s.
  7. A written report has to be submitted to the librarian in case of loss of Library Card within 7 days.
  8. A duplicate card may be issued with penalty of Rs. 100.00
  9. Students are responsible for the books borrowed against their library card.
  10. Students are requested to check the condition of the book before issuing.  Any damage found in the books taken out for reading or borrowing should be brought to the notice of the librarian before issuing.
  11. Loss of any borrowed book must be reported immediately to the Librarian.  Students must replace the lost book / pay the cost of the latest edition of the lost book along with overdue charges, if any.
  12. Bags, personal belongings and books borrowed from other libraries must not be brought inside the library.  These must be kept at the property counter at reader’s own risk.
  13. Library/ the Institute will not be responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings of the students left at its premises.
  14. Students are not allowed to bring any food items inside the library.
  15. Eating, talking on phone, playing games, online chatting or sleeping are not allowed in the library.
  16. Readers should maintain strict silence in the library.
  17. Mobile phones should be on switched off mode inside the library.
  18. If any student is caught for talking on mobile phone, playing games on mobile or chatting online inside the library, his/her mobile will be confiscated by the college.
  19. Strict disciplinary action will be taken for violating library rules or for misconduct with the fellow students or library staff.
